College “Hunks” in Columbus, Ohio

This College Hunks Hauling Junk operation is pure Buckeye! We service The Ohio State University and surrounding towns in the greater Columbus area. Our “Hunks” are OSU students and proud to fly the Scarlet & Gray on our junk removal trucks.

Located in central Ohio, Columbus is a wonderful melting pot of culture and tradition. The city is growing at a record pace which means more people, more homes, businesses…and more junk to be hauled! We are also very proud of our association with the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Last Spring we donated our time and junk removal trucks at the Columbus Zoo for the Channel 10TV food drive called “Operation Feed.” Over 100 volunteers worked tirelessly to collect and sort thousands of cans of food brought to the Zoo by the great people of Columbus. This extraordinary effort provided 58,000 meals, targeted to the hungry children in our area. We look forward to another successful drive in 2010.

My name is Jeff Arpin and our College Hunks Hauling Junk operation began in April of 2008. I was in search of a “customer service” franchise and while surfing the internet, the College Hunks opportunity literally jumped off the page at me. After some careful research I contacted the president, Nick Friedman…and the rest is history. I liked what I saw from the beginning and haven’t had a single regret. The Columbus junk removal market is wide open at both the residential and commercial levels. Although cliché…the sky is truly the limit.

At corporate headquarters, everyone listens and everyone learns. It’s a great feeling knowing Columbus is among the first twelve College Hunk franchises. We are affectionately referred to as “The Dirty Dozen”. Perhaps we’ll get to write our own small page in the history books.

Although we are capable of servicing all of Columbus, due to logistics we focus primarily within: Powell, Dublin, Hilliard and Upper Arlington. Give us a call to see if we can get out to you.
